joelle chandran | about unveiledJoelle relocated from Los Angeles to Santa Barbara in 2017. After years of hectic commuting to and from makeup jobs across LA, Santa Barbara is a breath of fresh air! Joelle has had a fascination with makeup since the age of 13 when she read Bobbi Brown's book Teenage Beauty, and decided then and there a career in makeup artistry was the dream. After graduating from Chico State with a degree in Studio Art, she began working with Chanel cosmetics. While learning on the job with Chanel, she attended makeup school to solidify her technique, learn airbrushing, and become certified. Working as a full time freelance artist in Los Angeles for over five years, she's had adventures of working red carpet award shows, music videos, multiple PBS and Bravo TV series, photoshoots on beachy cliffsides, the earliest of early KTLA morning show, and countless weddings! Joelle lives with her husband and two sweet cats, painting watercolors and shopping antiques in her spare time.
